Bio of Rev K
Rev's Story
Born into a violent household, Rev's childhood always in turmoil, so he was always seeking refuge somewhere. This led him to join the military and was assigned to the 101st Airborne. Serving in Desert Storm, he was then recruited by a security contract company. Gary performed clandestine missions overseas for a number of years, but finally settled down. During these times, he found joy in writing and later music. Both became his outlet and the way to cope with an uncertain future.

Rev started Reap the Light in 2020 with Orion Hellraiser, and together they released RTL's highly acclaimed debut album, Deliver Hell. After Deliver Hell, RTL was blessed with collaborating with some of the best in the business, the one at the top of that list was Tim "Ripper" Owens, formerly of Judas Priest, Iced Earth, and a singer for Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. Together with Ripper, they released Back to Bedlam. RTL also collaborated with Laura Guldemond, lead singer for Burning Witches. Unfortunately, due to musical direction, Rev and Orion parted ways. Rev kept up RTL and with the present band members, it is continuing its brutal onslaught on Metal music.
At the moment, he has diversified the music styles by experimenting in country, Christian/Worship music, and of course, metal.
